If you need guidance in your arts curriculum, Heather's has extensive experience in curriculum development.
She holds a Masters in Education in Art Curriculum and Development from UVic. Her research focussed on creativity and evaluation in post secondary education.
She has worked with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in Ontario to develop new post secondary programs and to make significant changes to existing programs.
She has participated in steering committees for the Ministry of Education for changes to Ontario's Secondary curriculum.
She has sat on several boards focussing on community arts programming, including Arts4All, Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology, and Union Internationale de la Marionnette.
As a former Program Coordinator she guided faculty through course development, creating assignments and projects that align with learning outcomes, evaluation processes, etc.
She has created several workshops, including a very successful 2 week Puppetry Intensive that drew international participants from many fields.
